Really good unit cools well and runs quiet

I currently have 2 other portable air conditioners. Whynter ARC-14s (it's a really nice and quiet unit) and the Ukoke unit which is the worst I've ever had in terms of noise. So I can compare the Delonghi device to this one. TLDR: If you need more information about it, it is detailed below. Quiet, cools well. Wheels could be better, doesn't roll as well on carpet as we would like but not too bad. The app on the play store has some permissions that I wouldn't give any company, so I can't use the app. Plugged in, turned on, works. Didn't have to fiddle around, it just worked. The air filter is very easy to replace. Sound: Delonghi has made a pretty good device here. It's very quiet, only 56-57 decibels when heavily cooled from about 6 feet away. This is normal and I can easily sleep in the same room with this device. This compares to my Whynter unit which is also 56-57 decibels. Ukoke runs at almost 70 decibels and sounds like a small engine. Cooling: Delonghi cools very well. It's still just hose so it won't work as well as my winter (I use it for most of the house with the fan mesh). I was impressed with how well it cooled. Another plus is that it dries the air well. Not all devices handle it well, some make it wetter than it should be. Thanks to Delonghi the room was cool and not damp, just what you need. Window Assembly: It was very easy and the pieces just snapped into place. I didn't have to cut anything as it was already the right size for a standard double/single casement window. Fitting the hose and fittings was also very easy, it was obvious where everything went. With other machines I've had to cut very thick plastic in the past and if you don't have a saw this can be annoying. WiFi: I didn't install their app. Like the Ukoke app, it requires permissions, which I don't want to grant. It needs permission to "draw on other apps" which is a major security flaw as it can potentially do really bad things. It also needs data about your phone's status and identity, as well as your device ID and call information. It's not necessary, and again it's a major security concern. They can see when you're calling and what number, they can also get your IMEI and other things they don't need to see. This is something you need to protect and not just give out to random people. The app needs a major update to be used as I wouldn't install it given the issues above. This also leads to another issue where WiFi cannot be disabled on the device. I'm not sure what the consequences would be if I didn't connect to the app, but my biggest concern is that potentially someone else could connect to it. I couldn't find much mention of WiFi mode in the documentation, so I'm not sure how it works. I don't know why it's not in the instructions, but maybe I just missed it. Movement: This thing has really good grips. Allows you to easily lift and overcome obstacles such as cables. However, it is a little difficult so not everyone can do it. Runs well, could roll much better. The handles help here, but it just won't roll well on my medium-pile carpet. It's not standing still in any way, it's still moving, it just takes more power than I think. In comparison, the Ukoke rolls like a goddamn dream and my Whynter literally has no handles, which is awful.
