The next day after the arrival of this small but powerful scraper, a light frost covered the windows of my car one winter morning. The air temperature was about +20°C, and this scraper cleaned the glass very quickly, each pass of the plastic blade easily and accurately removed the frost. However, I am curious how it will handle the thick ice that caked over the car and windows during the recent snowfall and sleet a few weeks ago, ice that took over 20 minutes to remove, and not even fully before it has broke my previous scraper. At the moment I'm happy with its performance and compact size, which made it easy to hold and use for clearing frost, which is why I'm giving it five stars. (fingers crossed so i don't have to change this rating after the next terrible snow/sleet passes mentioned above.) Update February 22, 2018: A few days after my first check, my car was covered in a thick layer of frost. windows, and this ice scraper cleaned my windows just as quickly and easily as it did with the lighter frosts I wrote about above. Now very happy with this purchase!
