I bought a 60 year old house with a 30 year old central vacuum and 2800 sq ft. Wooden feet and vinyl floors - I had no idea how useful a vacuum system would be. and it was a great upgrade from a very old Nuton hose and jets - I like the grip and switch too - thought the jets were silly they are actually very useful - don't forget to change your bag and filter, where is your suction isn't coming from a hose either - my only suggestion for improvement is a hose like RV vacuum systems that compresses until you pull it out, but I could only find 20ft versions of this type and it wasn't long enough - 35 foot of hose is enough for a room of 800 square meters.
