Build a 6' x 6' x 8' wood retaining wall. I have to use a drill to drive them in, but then they go like butter through 2 pieces of wood instead of a crack in the wood. Pre-drilling is not necessary, that's true. But I pre-drill a small hole with a 1/2" bit so the screw head disappears flush when fully screwed in. That way I can stack the next piece of wood, no problem.
