My parents recently got a new flat screen TV and wanted to put it on their bookshelf. The regular cord that came with their TV was only about 6 feet or maybe a little less. Once they plugged the TV into the outlet, the extension cord it was plugged into was hanging from the TV's cord. I bought this so they can fix this problem before it becomes a big problem. The cord is nice and long, maybe even a little over 12 feet. Both ends fit snugly into their respective connectors. The cable itself seems to be of decent thickness and fairly flexible. Overall a good cable if you need extra length.
