Review on Nilight TL 21 Universal Trailer Warranty by Brandon Reid

TJ owners can install you. The EVAP canister must be removed for installation.

For the price of this lighting system you can expect a very simple plug and play system. You are wrong. On a newer TJ model, you will need to remove the vaporizer canister assembly to install these lights as they were constructed with a bolt/nut combination that does not match the factory bolt design. You will need to drill some factory mounting holes, connect the wires to the pigtail/plug yourself, and then install with nuts on the inside of the jeep's side panels. On the passenger side, the only safe and effective way to install these is to remove the entire EVAP canister (above and behind the passenger's rear tire and wheel well) before drilling or attempting to install it. This is part of the fuel system, so avoid flames/sparks. You may need to remove a tire or jack up the vehicle to flex the suspension to make room. IT IS ALL SAID, can be installed in one day and can be installed correctly. So mine is fine and the LEDs are working great so far. The only other downside is that the actual taillight assembly is fully sealed (good for water resistance, bad for replacement LEDs) and both lights are included with a license plate light on the underside of the housing. So I have a white light on each side of the back of the jeep if only needed on the left side.
