So one day I bought this heating mat for my leopard gecko and he loved it (usually he sleeps on it at night) and a few more months later I got my leopard gecko, i bought a ball python, he was only on a 4 watt heater at the time and i figured he didn't get much heat from him so i decided to buy him one of these and personally this is my new favorite under tank heater. It works great, it usually heats up fully in about 10-20 minutes. If you do decide to buy one I would recommend getting a thermostat as this heater gets to around 120 degrees very quickly and will burn your animal and save you the vet bill.
