Works good great price

I bought this for my 2008 Honda Civic with an extra port but no Bluetooth. If I wanted to listen to music on my phone, I had to plug the phone into the aux port, run cables and stuff. I was a bit skeptical because this device was so cheap but thought it would be worth a try.1. Installation: Installation is literally plug and play. It comes with a 12V dual USB adapter so you can plug it into your cigarette lighter adapter and still have a port to plug your phone into for charging with a USB cable. The audio cable is simply plugged into the Aux connection. Some reviewers have complained that the cable separating audio and power is too short. In my device, the Aux connector is just below the 12V connector, so this is not a problem2. Pairing This device pairs easily with my Samsung Galaxy S3. Just connect like any other Bluetooth device. The included instructions are easy to understand.3. connection / reconnection. The SoundBot connects to my phone within seconds of starting the car. Pressing the button above will restart any previously running playback. My wife has a 2013 Honda Pilot Touring. This car has built in bluetooth audio and phone. The SoundBot connects in about a quarter of the time it takes a factory Honda system to connect. Also, I sometimes have to restart the bluetooth on the phone to connect to the factory Honda system in the Pilot. So far, after several weeks of use, the SoundBot has connected every time without my intervention.4. As far as I can tell, the sound quality is no different than a direct cable connection. This is of course the case in a car where other ambient noise will affect the listening environment. Maybe you could see the difference in another vehicle.5. Phone quality When I made calls with this device, the people on the other end of the line told me that they could hear and understand me clearly. Sometimes public address systems have poor intelligibility. It's not like this. The only downside is that the device has noise cancellation, which makes your signal quieter when you're not speaking. This can lead the person on the other end to think the call has been dropped when you don't speak. A NOTICE. The location where the device is installed can affect the quality of the call if the device does not pick up your voice well. Basically I am satisfied with this device. It works and I don't have to think about it.
