A relative's smart car gave code B1060 (A/C pressure sensor shorted to ground) after the air conditioning stopped working . When I found out that this part was the same one used on a late 2000's Mercedes Benz, I ordered it and installed it. After charging, the air conditioner works now! Be warned: there is no valve behind this sensor, so the system must be evacuated prior to removal. This is the only pressure sensor in this car's air conditioning system, but there is also an evaporator temperature sensor which has caused a lot of problems for people with this model. If your air conditioner isn't working, find a scanner that can read the A/C codes (most can't) and isolate the problem. Then you find a friend with the smallest hands to help you, it's terribly crowded under the hood.
