I'm so glad I decided to try these!

I am by no means an artist or an experienced colorist. I bought these pencils because I was curious about oil based colored pencils. I used the cheapest printer paper (Jot brand from Dollar Tree) when I drew them and was pleasantly surprised at how well they lay down because I now have an idea of how they would look in coloring books made from cheaper paper. I even drew them with the blunt end used to sharpen them. So I was curious to see what they can do with sharper dental paper. Attached Image - Springhill Vellum Bristol Cover 67lb. Because this is my drawing paper. I compared them to Prismacolor Premiers because it seems to be the only brand that everyone wants to see how other pens perform. So in the picture I made 6 light layers (keep the pencils at the end of the pencil to make sure I get as many as possible). even the pressure I might get to get a fair comparison). One is not smudged, the other is smudged with a Prismacolor smudge pen. I had no dust from Magicfly when coloring and a small amount of Prismacolor. Both slowly dismounted. Magicfly erases much better than Prismacolor. I sharpened the Magicfly and Prismacolor pencils only once through those 6 layers. Please excuse the confusion, I didn't mean to be perfect, just giving a general idea of things. I bought it because I get an anxiety attack every time I sharpen my Prism (laughs) and I wanted to find a comparable pencil that wasn't that expensive and I think it did. I also have Castle Art 72 Count colored pencils but they are not nearly as good and more expensive in my opinion. What I don't like is that they don't have numbers. or name on it. Now that I've matched them with color names and numbers it turns out there are two completely different colors numbered and named the same, Camel M110. One is more bronze and the other yellow-green. It doesn't bother me much, and I'm not sure if it's worth mentioning, but here it is. In general, I think this is my new take on pens. I definitely recommend trying them out if you're coloring in layers. I probably wouldn't recommend them for people who have a heavy hand and apply color right away.
