Nice pencil set for the price. The cores are quite soft and well pigmented. Most colors offer good coverage with moderate pressure; only a pair, like the light yellow one, needed a lot of pressure to show. This created some dented pencil lines and they took on a sheen. These are not water soluble pens; wetting them does not change them. I liked the color scheme, a few shades of green and blue as well as light warm tones. And there really is grey! Pencils hold an edge for quite a long time and are easy to sharpen when sharpened - they don't break while you're sharpening them.
