Finished my flamingo yesterday. Since these are partial bores I was hoping that the canvas could be smoothed out. But when that was done and he had weights on, there were still ripples in the white part of the project. I was concerned that even mounting it on a sticky board wouldn't line it up, and I knew it would annoy me. So let's get creative! I painted some green on a 16x20 canvas, cut out the flamingo, spray painted it onto the canvas and then added pink/orange feathers to fill in the body area. I LOVE how it turned out. Very cool and funny. The flamingo itself came together quickly and I had more than enough diamonds and wax to complete the project. I will definitely make one more of these.
