I've used other boards with CH340 chip in the past so I already had the driver installed and also tried uninstalling and reinstalling it. Regardless, I can't get the Arduino IDE to recognize and load code into it or open the serial monitor for it. Luckily, when I compile and upload from my phone, the ArduinoDroid app for Android does the job and the boards work perfectly. However, copying the code to my phone and plugging in the USB OTG adapter every time I want to test changes to the code I've written or view the serial output is quite a hassle.
