Sloppy soldering: Single board computer

Although the price is good, the poor soldering of the pins makes this a bad choice. I can't wait to repeat them. I give them 2 stars because they work well (I just added a test blink app to them) and the price is good.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Fair

Pay a little more for an Arduino.

They were immediately good. I immediately noticed that they have a different USB connector, so other Arduino USB cables will not fit. Also had to download a driver to match usns but that was easy to do. I bought 3. One of the three didn't work. I was able to upload my sketch but couldn't draw power from it. I replaced another one and it worked fine. So I think it wasn't worth buying them to save as 1 out of 3 didn't work.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Negative gift

Not recognized by avrdude on Linux

I bought a real Arduino Nano and three of these items. The real Nano works reliably with avrdude. All three of these REXQualis Nanos are getting "Programmer Not Responding" errors. Linux recognizes the ch341 UART and creates a ttyUSB0 device node, but the board doesn't respond when I try to talk to it. So it's unlikely to be "100% compatible" with the original Nano. Unfortunately, since there is no "Get Product Support" button to ask the seller how to use this item, I had to return it.

Great little microcontrollers.

I have used 2 nano for my recent projects. One is a star shaped flash of LEDs (see pictures) and the other I used to control the running LEDs in a circle. I had absolutely no problems loading the driver (on Linux/Ubuntu) and loading the sketches on the first try. I used Unos but Nano does the same job and is much smaller. Great product and good price. There is also no soldering and they came with cables. I recommend these products to anyone who needs a nano. If I need more I will buy from this…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

PC doesn't recognize them

I've used other boards with CH340 chip in the past so I already had the driver installed and also tried uninstalling and reinstalling it. Regardless, I can't get the Arduino IDE to recognize and load code into it or open the serial monitor for it. Luckily, when I compile and upload from my phone, the ArduinoDroid app for Android does the job and the boards work perfectly. However, copying the code to my phone and plugging in the USB OTG adapter every time I want to test changes to the code I've

Attack of the Clones!

I'm not a big Arduino fan, I prefer 32-bit controllers for my projects. There are other boards with better offerings. However, they are really good value for money. Arduino boards are ridiculously easy to use, come with free cables, and start working right out of the box. And they are good value for money. They will not work with Jetson nano. This is probably from the Jetson side, but worth mentioning. The Arduino IDE, pymata and pyfirmata will not find these Arduino Nanos when using Jetson…

DOES NOT UPLOAD ANY CODE! on Computer Components

I only had 1 Arduino before and it was Uno brand. I had a lot of experience with this and wanted to get Nano for a project I'm working on. The unbranded brands were a lot cheaper so I went with these. They were in good condition, but I've followed all the instructions and tried every combination of serial ports, processors, and boards and I never got around to downloading the code. In fact, it sometimes showed loading. something on the screen, but then it just said there was a problem. Please…

Attention to detail and quality assurance

To be honest I've seen some of the previous reviews of this product and some photos showing poor soldering and poor quality contacts. set it to 90 degrees for breadboard connections, but I bought this product anyway. Let me tell you - this company cares about the voice of their customers. I have three pristine Nanos in front of me and am impressed with the quality, product packaging and cost of the three boards. It's great to know that these guys are reading their reviews and making…

Pleasantly Surprised

Took a chance, ready to throw away because I couldn't get them to work, but they work well. In the package there is an indication of the need to download the driver for the CH340 chip. I'm developing on a Mac, so the driver had to be installed on the Mac, it was easy. Next, when it's time to compile the sketch and send it to the Nano, go to Tools in the Arduino IDE (on the Mac in my case) and set the following: Board: Arduino NanoProcessor Old BootLoader ( This is because my version of Arduino…
