Rating updated! For a number of years we had an old version of the "standard assembly" that required too many trips in the dishwasher and began to develop many small cracks on the lid and container. Satisfied with this device I bought a second old version. Unfortunately the device broke almost immediately and I gave it a one star rating. Much to my surprise, B&D contacted me and reminded me of my 2 YEAR WARRANTY and promptly arranged for the delivery of the new version of the chopper! WOW! I still can't believe the excellent customer service it took to get my post noticed and my issue resolved quickly! Glory to B&D! So is the NEW Enhanced Build really that good? YUP! The mug has ribs that fit into slots in the base of the grinder. No more twisting the cup on the ground. The cleavers are more offset and the shaft has small wings that move around the wood chip. It is very suitable for small items such as garlic and peanuts. The top cover now snapped straight into place; No more twisting the lid and trying to lock it. The new lid also acts as a switch to activate the grinder. B&D did a really good job with the redesign; It's MUCH faster and easier to use!
