I received a faulty unit which worked for about 5 days then the fuse in the unit blew along with the cigarette lighter fuse. So I changed both fuses, a 10 amp small clear tube like in the device and a 20 amp car fuse. Both reappeared so I stopped trying. I lost it because I threw it in the back of a truck with tools and supplies and couldn't find it to retrieve it in time. I chose this device hoping that it would be well finished, I cannot return it at the moment although I have now found it. You might find another manufacturer to buy a new one as this device is useless. $20 wasted.
