Great beat! for metalworking and multi-purpose drill bits
Bought as a replacement for the one I'm working on. They're well made, I've only used them so much (probably abused them a bit). My hobby is restoring muscle cars and these bits are perfect for drilling metal. Leaves a very clean hole when drilling sheet metal (unlike a conventional drill bit). Also used on thick metal (3/8 inch steel).
Pros
- The SpeedPoint tip penetrates faster than previous Unibits and prevents walking. 3-sided hexagonal shank prevents slipping in the drill chuck.
