Review on iSaddle WiFi Wireless OBD2 Auto Scanner: Engine Light Check & CAN-Bus Diagnostic Tool for Windows, Android, iOS Devices by Jeff Callier

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good OBD2 reader, sits flush if you need to drive while using.

SKU: iSaddle Super Mini Bluetooth (Blue) Part Number: SZ-026BFirst Look/Unpacking: Minimal packaging. Includes a driver CD, although I didn't have to use it with the applications I tested. Cars included in my review and test: 1995 Nissan 240SX2002 Honda S20002002 VW Jetta 2005 Nissan Maxima Phones and tablets I've connected to this ODB2 reader via Bluetooth: Samsung Galaxy S4Samsung Note 4Samsung Galaxy S6LG G Pad 8.3 No Apple devices available for testing. All devices used the Android version of Torq. Initial setup and test: Regardless of the vehicle, the ODB2 reader turned on with no problems as the LEDs light up after turning on the car with the key in the ignition. Although the Nissan Maxima left it on while the key was removed. It doesn't drain the battery when plugged in as I'm constantly running diagnostics. Connecting to an OBD2 reader was never a problem as it took less than a minute and then a few seconds for each device to be registered by the Torq app. The Torq app was able to read all of the error codes and pull any from memory when they were available. Positive: The ODB2 reader sits very well on all tested vehicles. The Jetta sat too flush and it took a pin/screwdriver to pry it out just enough to pry the rest out by hand. I don't see that as a problem as it's a mini version. Continued use of the vehicle connection does not drain the battery, although this may vary depending on your actual vehicle. The results can be very. This work is done. But that's only half of the tools you need, as you still need a Bluetooth-enabled device and an app to use it. I recommend buying.
