I like it. It is not expensive. There are no instructions. So basically you have to do a test run. I placed 1 tablespoon of homemade waffle cone mix in the center of the waffle iron. I have a gas stove. it's upstairs Once the mixture stops skidding down the cauldron, I close the top lid, place it on the fire, squeeze until the mixture reaches the rim of the cauldron, wait a second, then clip the handles together so they flatten. If you don't wait a second before cutting the handles, the mixture will squirt out. Give it some time to cook before cutting off the handle. Then cook the lil for 1 minute. Make sure the waffle maker is in the middle of the heat, otherwise the waffle cone will not cook evenly. 2 minutes is too long. The cone burns quickly. Then after a minute and maybe 15 seconds. Remove stove. Separate the handle. Remove from the kettle immediately as the cone kettle will be hot and the mixture will still appear to be boiling. The side that looks lighter should face the ceiling. The dark side of the cone should be facing down. Get a cone shape. I just used aluminum foil and made a cone out of it. Roll it out at an angle on the forming machine. Caution: The cone is hot!. Then pinch the bottom to close it. It hardens quickly. Remove the mold because if it hardens while the mold is still in the cone. You will spoil the cone by trying to get rid of the mold. That's all. Store it in a container. My child is allergic to milk and soy. The recipe I used does not contain milk. And I use soy and dairy free oil. All cones have different colors. Because there is no temperature control when using the oven. Therefore, your decision as to when to take it off the heat matters.
