system. This cartridge is a newer design than the ones I've used before. I contacted GE a couple of times as I couldn't install enough cartridge holders and kept leaking and they said it should work. I tried it without the cartridge and the venting went quite well. I bought a new o-ring with grease but no luck. I even tried installing it at Home Depot with a rep, same problem, and I didn't fit in enough to prevent a leak. I hope GE will sell the previous design because it just worked and I really liked it.
