I bought this clutch tensioner and have only had problems with it. First the tensioner arms buckled outward and I had to use a 2.5 pound hammer to bring them together close enough to go through the holes in the plate. Second, the threads of the nuts or bolts are poorly finished; The nuts were either stuck or about to fall off after tightening with a 3/4 socket wrench and brute force. After a short drive, one of the nuts was almost completely unscrewed. Third, it rusted within a week. 304 stainless steel should NOT rust like this. This tensioner was sold by the manufacturer, made by Revain and therefore believed to be genuine. I needed two and bought another one from MaxxHaul for a few bucks less. When I received it I was amazed at the difference in build quality. I sent this pathetic piece of junk back and bought a second one from MaxxHaul [MAXXHAUL 50023 Tightener Anti Rattle Stabilizer for 1.25" to 2", ASIN B07JDD8L3H]. It might not be rustproof, but at least they don't lie and claim it is.
