UPDATE: I contacted Connor and explained my problem. My hitch lock was still under warranty so they sent me a new one a few days later. I used the new pin once to move my trailer about 60 feet so I could cut the tree. When I was done, I locked the hitch pin back into the receiver, making sure it was locked as the latter had trouble staying locked. Two days later I noticed the pin was gone and the lock remained in the hole in the security chain. Absolute nonsense! inferior quality. I've only used this pin once to get my caravan out and now it's bent and the lock won't engage. Once it closes, it's almost impossible to open again. I had high expectations based on some of the reviews here, but I should have paid more attention to the negative reviews. After reading the reviews I found that others had the same issues.
