Doesn't register receipts as a group

This unit installed fairly easily onto my Windows 10 desktop on February 15, 2021 via the included CD disc. I couldn't download the software from their support site, but the CD was fine. I set it up to work with a direct connection via the included USB 2 cable since I use a desktop computer most of the time. I'm not sure if I want to set it up on a wireless access point as I don't see how to do both at the same time. One reviewer said you can't do both. Once installed, the software is easy to understand and use. It's important to set "One Touch" to a location that you recognize, since the last used folder isn't the default folder. I found the image quality and speed to be sufficient for reading. This device is not intended for copying photographs of the highest quality. A very nice feature for me is that you can remove the back of individual pages before saving if this page is not needed. My biggest frustration is having to scan 10-15 registration receipts from time to time to track expenses. I've found that the only way to scan registration receipts is to do it one at a time. Placing the group in the feeder with the guides properly installed will simply draw most or all of the group at once. The roller design does not appear to allow for receipt separation on register thickness paper. I've also had "multi-sided bonding" with 24lb bond paper, though not always. This is a good device if you don't need to scan registration receipts. I found the Fujitsu iX1500 much better in scanning speed, page management and receipts, but the software for it became totally incompatible after a firmware update, so I replaced it with this one. Hope this review helps you.
