Fell apart in just 24 hours

Had high hopes for this item but with normal handling on second day of ownership the two halves of the plastic separated and it fell apart in my hand. I didn't want to mess with the return and since I needed it to work I took some super glue and taped it back together. So far so good, but I get worried every time I press on it to unplug it from the USB socket. Take risks if you want, but I'm sorry I didn't continue my search.
