Best Stock 80cc Carburetor

This is a great 80cc carburetor when tuned. You need to know how these carbs are balanced in order to achieve great performance. I had to increase the throttle cut to make it run lean between 1/8 and 1/4 throttle, it took some experimentation. You need to know what main jet is recommended for your engine and body size and set the needle jet to just under 4 cycles. Compared to the NT carburetor, it has a larger throttle body, an improved needle and poppet valve that won't overflow if you forget to shut off the fuel, better fuel flow to the float bowl, and a larger pilot jet. This is a very clean cast. (Use an O-ring to seal vacuum leaks). I live in Arizona and it's going to be 120 degrees. I use an NGK B7HS spark plug, copper head gasket and banana tube with Amsoil Spector Professional 100:1 at 50:1 and use a 32 tooth rear sprocket. It doesn't overheat and has tremendous power at any speed, up to 35 km/h.
