I haven't tested them and I don't regularly transfer large amounts of data, but they're fast enough that I haven't noticed what's good. I use them to create bootable Linux ISO disks, so they have been formatted and reformatted many times when installing distros and there have been no problems. I found them to be a better price than the 4GB packages, which were around 6.0GB a few months ago. Also, the super cheap drives I've bought in the past haven't been reliable or durable, so I should pay a little more. I recommend this product. The only slap I have is the caps I lose. But I'm just picky
