Review on Alpine S S65 6 5 Inch Coaxial Speakers by Mike Flyers
You sound clear! - car and vehicle electronics
I really liked the speakers, however the screws that came with them were not very good. I replaced my old Bose 5 3/4 speakers in the rear doors of my 2011 GMC Sierra Crew Cab with these and apart from drilling new screw holes everything was fine. They're louder than the old Bose, but not as responsive in bass. If you want bass, add an amp and a subwoofer! With the standard head unit they become LOUD!
