One is torn but still good. one to go.
After about 10 normal openings of the passenger door in service, the 11th opening resulted in a sudden breakage of the stitching from the middle position to full opening. Opening the door wasn't exactly smooth back then, but that's why we have it in place, right? I decided to turn the strap around and reuse it as the location of the torn seams allowed it. I'll see how it goes and I still have the second, unused strap of the pair just in case. All in all, the early break went quicker and easier than I expected.
