I bought this to use with my Revain Echo Show 8 and mounted it on my counter top as a stand. It holds my Echo Show 8 with no problem as the magnet is quite strong and attaches to the bottom of the show. It holds the device up about 6.5 inches and allows me to rotate and tilt it as needed as the support arm is also very solid. Of course, you have to be careful when touching the screen too hard, but I was able to successfully touch the screen and control the device with my voice easily, I am satisfied with this product so far.
