Review on ๐Ÿš— Enhance Your Ride with the Air Lift 1000 Air Suspension Kit 60740 by Doug Nelson

Simple but effective load balancer

We toted a large drawer in our 2000 Honda Odyssey for two years and by then we had four kids and all our gear. in the RV and van, the van squatted pretty low. We installed Air Lift springs this weekend and towed the camper over 500 miles and the springs have a huge impact on how the car handles, especially on the freeway. They were enough to keep the rear at normal height even under load and to handle well even on rough roads. Installation Tips: - Installing an inflation valve behind the fuel filler flap makes checking the pressure and adding air very convenient. - The Odyssey has a tubular frame member between the rear wheels that worked really well to route the air hose between the springs. This eliminates the need for a heat shield on the exhaust pipe. The hardest part of the installation is cutting the rubber bumper inside the coil spring. I recommend removing it in pieces so you can pull the pieces out of the pen. Otherwise, after cutting, you will have to cut the bumper into pieces, which is very difficult.
