I just bought this to hopefully fix my soft pedal issues on my Tundra, but the crappy adapter doesn't seal the master cylinder at all. What were you thinking with this design? The chain is too short so I had to buy a longer chain. Then I found that the rubber was nowhere near tight and would leak at less than 4psi. After tightening it to the point where I was concerned about damaging the master cylinder, it ended up sealing well enough to generate about 15psi. I had to coat the rubber gasket with brake fluid to seal it. Of course it still didn't work. It turns out that if you have bleed valves, that piece of junk doesn't create enough pressure to force liquid through the valves. Instead it just started overfilling the reservoir and then spraying 15psi of liquid all over my engine bay. So thanks for that. This will probably work with a different adapter, but it's useless. I'll keep them as a general purpose fluid transfer pump, but I don't think I'll ever try to use them for brakes again.
