I bought this for my Meyers salt spreader on my John Deere 1026r compact tractor. Suitable for shakers, but often obsessed with salt. I use dry rock salt in bags to get the consistency and weight right. When the engine is on, the engine will sprinkle salt and you will get the first three pulses of power, but as soon as you try to increase the speed from 1 to 9, the engine will act like it's stuck and won't spin. I've used two different controllers with the same results. It's a huge pain to only be able to use the heart rate feature. The spreader is clearly visible on the rear of the tractor's three-point hitch. I can't imagine handling this on a truck and not seeing it not work.
