My son had a severe nasal congestion as a young boy and would wake up coughing and choking from nasal discharge. When we took him to his room we had a Crane Drop humidifier but it broke 4 months into use. We bought Vornado Baby and I will never buy another brand again. The "white noise" it produces is great for a baby, but it's not overly loud. I hear it through the baby monitor but my son loves the constant noise. Love the feature where you can set your desired humidity level and it stays there. We keep about 45%-50% in his room. In winter I often had to top up water twice a day because it kept leaking, and in summer I can go days without refilling. I love the water tank as it is so easy to lift and fill without having to lift it. It was a great investment and I will definitely buy it again.
