Review on 🔍 ALLOSUN Refractometer: The Ideal Replacement for Hydrometer by Luke Hodes

I am a home winemaker and have had a similar one for many years. The old one broke when I accidentally dropped it. Bought this as a spare and found it well built, excellent visibility, very legible. Much easier than using a hydrometer and much less wasteful on your cider as only 2-3 drops are needed. The instructions were ok but it took a while to get used to the size. The same is true for reading the Specific Gravity/Brix scale, although using a brighter light source helps. Come with a nice case. The refractometer is very durable but needs to be handled with care as it is an optical device.
