Review on LEZYNE Steel Drive Floor Gloss by Satish Greener

I'm a road cyclist so I need a pump that pumps 115-120# reliably. I have an earlier version of this drive steel base that I bought a few years ago, as well as this version with a large dial and angled fill valve. Firstly the screw on the fill valve is the same as the old version as far as I can see and is a real pleasure to use compared to clamp pumps on the fill valve. These screw-on valves fit snugly into the tire's pre-valve and will not burst if pressure exceeds 50psi. The o-ring has held up well on my old version of this pump and I see no reason why this one won't last as long either. If you need replacement rubber O-rings, you can also find them at Home Depot or Lowes. The new version's large dial is very welcome and the hose is a high quality, high pressure hose and is long enough to easily reach tire pressure no matter what position it is on the wheel. The reason for buying this second pump is to keep one for the Presta and the other for my wife's ventilated Schrader bike and have a backup when needed. Since my time in the military, I've learned to always have a backup system on hand. When inflating with this pump I get about 5-7psi per stroke so getting my tires to 115psi is pretty quick. I am very happy with this pump which seems to be of the same quality as my old version so I would have no hesitation in recommending it as the old one has lasted so long.
