Review on Rule Mate RM1100A Automated Switch Required by James Morrow

Installed to replace an old Rule pump that only works with a switch. My boat now stays in the water all summer under a covered floating dock, so an automatic pump is recommended. The motor in the RM 750A was tested after installation but apparently stalled on the first auto power on. There was only a single rain that was able to turn on the pump and when I returned two weeks later the hold was almost dry. So it probably didn't work when it was first turned on after my setup test. Rule has replaced it and I have tested it with running water in the bilge and it seems to be working fine. Due to the drought here in the south east I'll have to wait until next year to see if a replacement has the same problem (had to hitch my boat today due to low water on our lake).
