Review on Premium Dorman 926-253 Front Driver Side 🚪 Door Seal for Cadillac/Chevrolet/GMC Models - Superior Quality, Black by Scott Koeck

I don't understand why the listings (more than one source), including the Dorman website, say this product is for the DRIVER side only. Maybe someone can explain this to me? However, since I couldn't figure out why the rubber grommet wouldn't fit on either side, I installed it on the PASSENGER side of my 2006 Suburban. Guess what? It fits perfectly, just as I expected. It took no more than 10 minutes to pull out the old one and install the new one. super easy. A hammerless rubber mallet is the ticket to installing this product. The door now needs a firm squeeze to close it, but this should loosen as the new seal adjusts to its new home. And I bet the passenger side wind noise is gone now, even though I haven't driven a truck yet. Very happy with this product. It's the small victories that make 2020 bearable. And I just ordered another one for the driver's side. I look forward to having a nice, quiet Suburban again.
