These tire levers are about as strong as for a plastic that won't ruin aluminum wheels. My 700 x 25 wire bead gatorskins are very tight and I broke a few of the plastic tools to change them. Blanst tire levers will survive this process but do not always fit together and may require a rubber band to tie the set together. Support was quick to send me a second set when I complained that the set didn't connect easily as shown by the molded shape. The second sentence didn't work either. I take them for what they are though, because durability is more important than anything else when it counts - on the road.
