This is our second Scotch Brite mop. The first one is many years old and still works, but we wanted to keep it specifically for the kitchen. I like the design of the head. Putting on and taking off fresh covers is very easy. The turning movement is unmatched. The rod, however, is the usual crap that happens with household mops. Ours was immediately abandoned in favor of an adjustable color bar, as we did with the first. Used with a sprayer these are really good general purpose mops for anything but a tough clean. We have 3 sprayers on hand: one with hardwood concentrate mix, another with water/ammonia for tiles and a third with regular water for mopping floors. Our old mops were supportive. Tip: Buy a pack of 6 sleeves. Replacing with a new one takes seconds, and flushing over and over again is a crazy waste of time. Toss them in the wash and they're like new. We haven't worn out our oldest yet. and they are years old.
