Revainrating 4 out of 5

All in all as advertised

#### Advantages* Attaches securely to battery, only detaches when battery release button is pressed and appears to make a strong electrical connection to the battery terminals *Plastic and mechanical parts are solid and snap cleanly* Secures with better quality T9 screws compared to the Phillips head screws on some of those cheap adapters* Pins are a bit thicker than some of those cheap adapters* Exactly the advertised weight of 67g* Actually has 12 gauge wire - as advertised * Wires are soldered directly to battery terminals - may potentially increase overall capacity * Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP) wire insulation up to 200C * Has some internal space that can be used in some projects to house additional small electronics to accommodate ## ## Disadvantages* No compensator voltage for wires – ob arguably passing them through small holes that can provide some protection*"), but there's really nothing in the adapter that provides the contacts*, which are embedded in a floating piece of plastic and rely on the assembled housing to hold them to lock in place* Wire has relatively few strands and is quite stiff - not ideal for applications subject to frequent flexing* I partially removed two screws during research for this test - probably not really the adapter's fault, as it is not designed to be disassembled many times Comparison of similar adapters: https://symbioquine.net/2021-12-03-dewalt-diy-adapters#bart
