I've never had knives that sharp! I sharpened all the knives in the house (I'm a Master Scout, I have LOTS of knives). Oddly enough, the best feature is the little plastic corner rail. This will ensure you have the correct angle on the blade every time. I brought blades I thought were hopeless. I sharpened all my kitchen knives. I sharpened scissors. I even took him to Boy Scout camp and sharpened the knives the Boy Scouts had just bought at the trading post to better cut wood. It only takes about 10 strokes from each side of the blade to each surface to get it razor sharp. Worth the investment.
