This bracket is easy to install (I attached it to the wrong tree on the Volvo XC70 console) and it attaches quickly and securely. The magnet feels solid and my iPhone Plus didn't fall off the mount. For me the best part is where I could glue the mount. I mounted it to the top of the console which is easy to see for GPS maps and that's all I would use the installed phone for as all phone related functions work over bluetooth in the car. I also have a Volvo convertible and am ordering one for this car as well. The mount itself is pleasantly small and unobtrusive. Very minimalistic and clean look.
