Works for the Purpose
This was a pretty good blanket ladder - a Christmas gift for my daughter. There was a pretty strong chemical smell when I took it out of the box. Not sure what that was, but it dissipated over time. Some of the stain came off on my hand while I was putting it together, and the wood is kind of rough. For these reasons, if it were mine, I'd put a coat of polycrylic on it before using it, so that the stain or splinters wouldn't ruin blankets. Offered to do this for my daughter, but she was fine with it. It is attractive and functional.
- The ladder is perfect for those who want to showcase their blankets, but don't have a lot of storage space
- Could potentially interfere with window treatments or other wall hangings
