I had high, high hopes for this yoga mat based on the many positive reviews. I'm 5'10 and wanted to get a new mat that was longer than the traditional mats to fit my height. The mat has very little grip and should only be used for basic stretching. With strong yoga hands, in a downdog, my hands immediately start sliding forward and I have to constantly readjust. Imagine being in even more challenging poses . no thank you! Also, the strap was not included in my shipment - sounds like this is a fairly common issue based on other reviews so I kind of expected this to happen but hoped the mat would be good enough to make it worth it.
