Yes, they are made in China so we won't talk about that. Also, by the way, Craftsman, Irwin, Milwaukee, Kobalt, Husky and I'm sure most of the others too. In fact, while Snap-On is still primarily made in the US, it has factories around the world, including China. While much cheaper junk comes from China, there are decent quality tools out there as well. There's a difference between cheap tools and cheap tools, $50 for a set of 5 pliers is certainly a cheap tool set, but it's not cheap. You would pay more for a similar set from any of the above brands and multiples of this snap-on set. This set comes in a nice folded pouch. The pliers have a good weight and are very well made. No sharp edges, smooth surface and smooth operation. The handles are large and comfortable, and I really like the curved jaw pliers. This is a great set for both the pro and the boy or girl just starting out. Quality tools at an affordable price. And they have a lifetime download guarantee. Without a doubt, they are definitely worth your hard-earned money. Buy them and the next time the Snap-On Truck hits the store, you could save a ton of money.
