The base is beautiful and strong. It stays in place while you work. The arms are a bit tight but work. The nice thing are the set screws that hold the standard alligator clips. Since it is not a proprietary clutch, the levers can be adapted to fit different types of restraints. The lighting is fantastic and wonderfully adjustable. A downside is that it gets hot. My only major/minor complaint is the magnifying glass. I wish the lens was bigger (bigger diameter). Otherwise I am very satisfied and would buy it again.
