In my opinion it is very convenient.
My 10 year old loves swimming but hates mesh lined swim trunks. They give him rashes on his legs. Swimming trunks are very comfortable, do not chafe and have a drawstring to put them on. My son is very thin and it is difficult to find suitable swimming trunks. You can tighten accordingly. I'm glad I found her!
Pros
- My grandson loves the rashguard insert instead of the regular mesh insert. He rode the waves and no longer had a rash
Cons
- Shorts may not provide adequate protection for modesty.
