I have 2 adult cats, one 17lbs and the other 18lbs and these collars fit great and look lovely! They are also suitable for smaller cats. I know my cats are bulky and I had to put a collar around the last hole. They have had these collars on since Christmas Eve and they are very secure and I can still slip a finger under them and around the collar. I think cats like it too because they never scratch it or try to take the collar off.
