Everything works as intended. It moves easily when the dog is out and seems to absorb shock quite well. However, the pictures do not reflect what I received. The swivel carabiner that attaches to my dog's harness is not a fixed loop. It's open. In the past six months, the 25-kilogram beagle has managed to detach himself from him and free himself. This is a major design flaw and I can't figure out why this was even possible. This is the only open piece in the entire set. The photos on the sales page show this to be a solid hinge but I did not receive it. Because of this, this item becomes unusable after about six months. If my 25 pound dog can take it apart in just six months, then I know a normal sized dog will break it in a much shorter time. I am disappointed that the photo does not reflect what I received.
