Generally good and strong, but I would like them to be attached to the crossbars.
Nice luggage rack. It is very easy to install and doesn't take much time. The brackets do NOT snap to the crossbars, which is what we had hoped. However, there are special head allen screws that are less common (less likely for a would-be thief to have a tool handy) that secure the handle that loosens the fasteners. Also, they cannot be used without modification if you plan to bolt to T-bars. The way the arms are raised to allow the skis/boards to go into the bar when secured with T-bar bolts. But overall a solid product.
